Well, I slipped a little with this one, as work has gotten a little crazy and my free time has been sorely impacted. However, here’s some of the science news that I was able to read this past week:
Carbon Nanotubes used to create real bionic muscle tissue that may be able to replace damaged cardiac muscle
Spray-paintable solar cells that are as efficient as standard cells
Engineers create cells that act as biological circuits, perform logical functions, and store data
Super-efficient LED light that actually cools its environment as it lights up
Scientists add a new sense (night vision) to rats…and the rat’s brain adapts to use it
Gene found that permanently stops cancer cell growth
